Art Gallery in the Spanish Mountains
If you are passing through the region of Castellon, you could do worse than to drop by here. Both an artist's atelier and a beautiful art gallery, this renovated finca is situated in breathtaking scenery. Approached by a narrow old mountain road that winds its way seductively through olive and almond terraces, if it were not for the mushrooming electricity pylons (shame!), you would swear that you had dropped into a previous century. The artist owner, Mariano Poyatos Mora, is an artist in the truest sense, and very gracious and welcoming. I was particularly interested in his project "Bajo La Piel" (Under the Skin) as it ties in somewhat with my "Body Landscapes" project. Check it out.
